State-of-the-art propulsion tools for propellers, engines, and gears

HydroComp’s most popular sizing program, PropExpert, has been updated for 2024 with new features to promote ease of use and workflow efficiency. PropExpert 2024 includes new visualization features for the Blade Scan Analysis tool, shortcuts for copying reports and navigating to project directories, and improved filter tools to help you find your sizings even faster.

Propeller Rotation and Skew Visualization

HydroComp PropExpert 2024 includes updates for the blade scan analysis tool. This tool let’s users enter distributions of chord length and pitch for calculating propeller blade area ratio and effective pitch. This is very important for propellers with variable pitch curves and for projects involving re-pitching, RPM, or engine load adjustment. Improved visualizations and metadata provide added clarity to customers.

New shortcuts – Copy PDF Report and Go To Folder

PropExpert’s reports document your calculations in a professional manner and are a valuable asset to provide to the vessel owner. PropExpert 2024 introduces a new shortcut button to copy the report file to the Windows clipboard. This allows users to quickly get the report performance results to the customer by email or file transfer. Additionally, there is a new Go To Folder command for the Project Library under Settings | Administrator.
